Yoel Piotraut is the co-founder and managing partner at MyHome. Yoel co-founded MyHome in 2001 having moved to the United States in 1999 after completing his military service in Israel as a officer. He is the eyes and ears of every project at MyHome and is a trusted presence both to clients and to the architects, managers, and contractors who report to him.
Lior Noy has worked as a remodeling consultant for MyHome since 2003. With the extensive educational background in landscaping, engineering and irrigation he received while residing in his home country of Israel, Lior provides exceptional knowledge and skill to MyHome's team of professional remodeling consultants.
For nearly a decade, MyHome remodeling consultant Ben Pitt has been assisting clients with developing exciting home improvement ideas for their bathrooms and kitchens. By providing expert advice concerning any design issues that may arise before, during and after the project, Ben has an established reputation for being an innovative and productive remodeling consultant.
With a decade at MyHome and a lifetime in the industry, Andrew Rooney has been an invaluable part of our puzzle. Assisting clients with anything from Managing a Full Apartment Renovation to designing a Powder Room, his experience and eye for detail have established a great track record in the industry. Responsible for handling a project from inception to completion, Andrew’s enthusiasm and work ethic are instrumental to his success.
When customers need expert assistance with home remodeling, the first person they usually speak to is MyHome's sales executive Michael Pauline. With the ability to provide over 20 years of practical, savvy experience regarding all facets of home improvement, Micheal conveys an infectious sense of energy and enthusiasm in his role as one of MyHome's sales executives.
As Bookkeeper, Mayya is responsible for all of the logistics behind the financial operations at MyHome. Internally, Mayya manages payroll and commissions. Mayya also works closely with clients and vendors by preparing new agreements with subcontractors, managing statements and requests, fulfilling all bills, and preparing and filing taxes on behalf of the company. Mayya has been a member of the MyHome team since its start, and has cumulatively spent almost ten years with the company.
Peter was promoted to the position of Production Manager for MyHome in May 2015.
Peter joined the MyHome team in 2014 as a Project Manager with over 16 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry. Peter worked as a residential Project Manager (PM) of high-end luxury kitchens and baths in metropolitan New York. In addition to his work as a PM, Peter has also worked as a Designer, Salesperson, and Installer. The knowledge and experience that Peter brings to MyHome is a valuable asset as he now coordinates all the Project Managers and tradesmen required to complete the many, ongoing projects that MyHome operates. Peter excels in discovering creative solutions to challenging situations when needed, while maintaining the overall goal of client satisfaction.
With an original start in Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Peter came around full circle to the construction remodeling industry with a much more hands-on approach 16 years ago. Peter’s focus is firmly on his clients, bringing a high level of comfort and confidence to them from the first confirmation meeting and throughout the project until completion is reached.
Anthony Quiles has over 6 years of retail,sales,and customer service experience.
Anthony manages the warehouse aspect of each of MyHome’s projects. Anthony receives materials for each project at MyHome’s warehouse, where he verifies the inventory and ensures the quality of each individual piece. All of the materials are then organized according to project until they are needed on the job site, at which time Anthony coordinates the delivery of each piece to the job site.
Anthony have worked with some of the biggest shipping and delivering companies in New York. Anthony is a great team player with a great passion to get the job done correctly and on time; He is a fast learner, detail orientated, and driven to become the very best he can for MyHome.
Ariel Ram is a classically trained interior designer who has been working in
New York City since 2009. She graduated from The Art Institute of
Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. Her passion for
design and dedication makes her an invaluable member of our team.
Whether designing in a landmark building, pre-war apartment, or renovated
condominium, Ariel's material selection and color palette are classic and
timeless. She enjoys working together with her clients to create both
beautiful and functional designs using symmetry, balance, texture, and
color. Her experience and attention to detail ensures that each project
meets the clients goals and exceeds their expectations.
Born and raised in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania Ariel has been analyzing and
re-configuring her environment from a young age. Her natural creative ability
and intuitive problem solving led her to pursue a career in Interior Design
after spending a college Semester in Madrid, Spain. Her graduation thesis
which was presented in 2009 transformed the commandants building in the
Philadelphia Naval Shipyard into the 'Philadelphia Birth Center'.
Chad grew up in a family of custom builders and has over 30 years of professional experience in the building industry.
He has worked for both small and large firms as well as independently in custom design and remodeling. He also has extensive experience in commercial, retail, medical, hospitality, high rise and industrial construction.
Chad has studied across the US and abroad and has numerous degrees, certifications and licenses to build structures of unlimited size and value.
Chad enjoys golf, hiking, and yoga. He is a proud father and resident of Manhattan.
As Office Manager for MyHome, Jessenia acts as the liaison between clients and the designers at MyHome by fielding inquiries, tracking client projects, and managing appointments between designers and clients. Jessenia is also responsible for keeping MyHome’s showroom show-ready, keeping the team motivated, and discovering new leads and potential projects.
With a Bachelor's of Arts in Business Management from New Jersey State University, Jessenia is well qualified as Office Manager for MyHome. Ensuring hundreds of customers’ needs are being met and that their renovation project is progressing smoothly takes someone who is efficient, personable and conscientious about their job, and Jessenia skillfully exemplifies all these qualifications.
When Jessenia is not performing her duties as Office Manager she is spending quality time with her twelve year old daughter. She also likes to watch films, spending time with family, and explore New York City.
Keva Niver serves as MyHome’s Purchasing Manager. She is responsible for the purchasing of all production materials, as well as inventory control of in house materials. Keva has previous purchasing experience and deals directly with vendors throughout the industry to ensure material and equipment is delivered to keep projects on schedule. She has extensive knowledge in material products and specifications. Keva holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science with a focus in Urban Planning from the University of South Florida and although a native of Florida, she has enjoyed calling NYC home for the last 7 years.
Architect and photographer Nick Zalli brings a trained eye for design and years of experience overseeing projects to the MyHome team.
Well versed in all aspects of the renovations process, Nick takes a detailed approach to design, scheduling and materials. As project manager, Nick oversees projects from start to finish, coordinating all aspects so that project deadlines are met with great client satisfaction.
Rafael manged the MyHome warehouse for 2 years and was recently promoted to be a Project Manager. Rafael values customer service and is known for his ethics. He has a wide range of extensive experience working in and around New York City, both as a bike messenger and in the real estate industry. Rafael knows the city and is great at communicating with people and the trades needed to complete projects successfully.
As Office Administrator for MyHome, Tiffany Smolick has many responsibilities. Her focal and most important duty is processing completed contracts which she has been doing since 2015. Once a contract has been signed, Tiffany receives the contract, contacting the client's management company and gathering information regarding the necessary documentation needed for them to approve initiation of the project. A few of the items that Tiffany must collect, organize and finalize include creating a scope of work, submitting the building's alteration agreement once it has been properly filled out, mailing client's checks to the building, furnishing insurance information and contacting electricians, plumbers and other contractors involved in accomplishing the project.
In 2007 Tiffan left a career in Human Resource Management, moved to Atlanta with her daughter and went back to school for Interior Design. Graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Atlanta she moved back to NYC to pursue a career in design. Tiffany freelanced for a year taking on small projects, paint consultations, small renovations and film set design. In 2012 she was hired as Assistant Manager/In House Designer at an import furniture company in lower Manhattan. There she learned about the different woods used in furniture design from India and Indonesia while assisting customers through photos and floor plans in creating and implementing design concepts for their space. In 2015, fuled by a passion for green design inspired Tiffany began working on a personal project making decorative home accessories out of natural materials and organic fabrics.
“In my spare time when I am not engrossed in a good movie, you will find me at a flea market or wondering through stores looking for products for future projects.”
